Thank you to retired Army Reservist Kraig Morris. He shared his story with us about how after his 21 year military career (active duty, guard, reserve) , he retired in late 2008 and felt lost. Within a year, he enrolled in and graduated from seminary. He is now a non-denominational chaplain and a volunteer fire company chaplain. To pay the bills, Kraig works in the maintenance department of a state park. In what he describes as a “cool job” he works outdoors and meets a lot of people.

Kraig is a great example that it is never too late to reinvent yourself and follow your heart.
