There’s a movement trekking across the country—all in order to hug total strangers.
Ian Michael is the founder of the Human Hug Project, a mission that has him sharing an embrace with veterans who are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The goal is to go beyond a few hour’s drive and visit all 155 Veteran Health Administration Hospitals across the country.
At the core of the small group are three hard working individuals: Ian, Gino and Erin.
Ian’s day job is driving for Uber. His cohorts Gino and Erin are a graphic designer and a DJ, respectively. Erin is also an art instructor in Nashville. In addition to their own financing, the project depends entirely on donations. If you would like more information on how you can be a part of the movement, visit http://www.humanhug.me/
